As a sister of a developmentally disabled adult, I found this book extremely helpful. Sometimes the legal issues that present themselves in my sister’s life can be overwhelming and complicated. It has always been a priority for my parents that my sister be cared for and protected every single day of her life, including when they and we (my siblings and I) may not be able to care for her ourselves. Molly David’s book offers readers options for how best to provide and care for their loved ones as they become adults and live out the rest of their lives — no matter what that looks like for each individual. Molly speaks from experience, and it is clear she wants to share what she has learned so that other families can rest assured their loved one is provided for. I found the web addresses and QR codes provided to be very helpful. This is a wonderful resource!
